Characters like Genie from Aladdin, Tiana and Naveen from The Princess and the Frog, and Miguel from Coco dance across floating screens. Recognizable reprises from Frozen, Brave, Moana, and more are also featured in the 21-minute show.Īdditionally, with the inclusion of new water screens, guests experience a whole new dimension of World Showcase fireworks. Not only do audiences hear classics from The Lion King, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Mulan, and Hercules, but the lyrics jump across language barriers. Unlike its predecessor, Harmonious beautifully incorporates classic Disney medleys in their respective native languages. Nevertheless, guests didn’t seem to mind after seeing the mind blowing new show in all her glory. I’m not going to lie, they’re hard to miss. Perhaps the most common criticism of Harmonious is the newly installed barges that block views of World Showcase Lagoon. One community, one family, one human race. With the lighting of the final torch, we recognize that we are one. The 20th torch emerged from the central globe in Act III to symbolize the 20th century. All the while, each country’s pavilion lit up in harmonious unison to represent different cultures becoming one.Īs a tribute to the new millennia, the show utilized 19 torches surrounding World Showcase Lagoon. Finally, in the third act, Meaning, the new original song “We Go On” made its debut. The music softened, and we watched humans settling into different cultures upon the globe’s exterior.
Act II, Order, is when guests watched a massive globe emerge from backstage towards the center of World Showcase Lagoon. The first act, Chaos, represented the creation of Earth with dazzling fireworks and intense, powerful music. In keeping with Disney’s theme of storytelling, Illuminations had 3 distinct acts that showcased mankind coming together as one. He’s known as the voice behind Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Hondo Ohnaka from Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run, and more.
